Seattle Seahawk Ricardo Lockette was back in the stands at Monroe High Saturday, still beaming from his greatest professional achievement.
"It feels great man, it feels great," Lockette said. "We worked hard and accomplished our dreams at the end of the season."
It's been a crazy year for Lockette. He started training camp with the 49ers but was released before the season started. He was then picked up by the Bears in the mid-season. He was later released from their practice squad.
By the end of the year, he recorded 2 tackles and a first down in the biggest game of the season.
"Everything happens for a reason," Lockette said. "Just believe in yourself and keep grinding and that's what happened. I won the Super Bowl."
