Rep. David Scott and SunTrust
partner to host event to assist Georgians facing foreclosure
WHAT: Georgians seeking information on mortgage assistance are invited to attend an informational meeting about HomeSafe Georgia, a federally-funded program that helps prevent home foreclosures. The event is free and open to the public.
SunTrust and the Georgia Department
of Community Affairs (GDCA), which houses the HomeSafe program, will have
mortgage and financial counselors available to discuss HomeSafe Georgia
options, requirements and some recent changes to the program.

WHO: Hosted by Rep. David Scott
(D-13) and SunTrust Bank. Rep. Scott and GDCA Commissioner Gretchen Corbin will
kick off the event at 9:00 a.m.
