Police hunt for Delta Credit Union forgery suspect

HENRY COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Henry County police are looking for a woman who cashed a forged check for $1,000.
The first incident happened Aug. 9.
Police said a woman driving a dark colored sedan falsely identified herself as an employee of Delta Community Credit Union. She cashed a forged check for $1,000.
A similar incident happened Aug. 14.
Police said a woman driving a black Chevrolet Camaro tried to cash a forged $1,000 check at the Delta Community Credit Union at 5006 Mt. Zion Pkwy. in Stockbridge. The woman drove off without the cash while the teller was trying to verify the check.
