Atlanta Final Four organizers are expecting at least 100,000 fans to attend the games on Saturday and Monday, but even more than that will flock to Centennial Olympic Park for the free concerts scheduled from Friday through Sunday nights.
Sting, Ludacris, the Zac Brown Band and Dave Matthews Band are just a few of the acts set to put on free concerts throughout the weekend. Officials think as many as 150,000 music fans could be in town, in addition to the basketball fans, over the three-day festival.
"We've been expecting this many people to come into town for the past 12 months, so we're as prepared as we can possibly be," said Atlanta Final Four organizer Caitlin Crowley.
She said there will be some parking available at the Georgia World Congress Center deck and other lots around the area. However, those spots could cost as much as $25 per vehicle and are expected to be sold out as early as noon each day.
Crowley said the MARTA rail lines will be the best option for people who want to get downtown but don't already have driving plans mapped out.
