Despite the rain, the annual Easter egg hunt at the Governor's Mansion will take place Saturday.
Activities include pictures with Easter Bunny, cupcake and egg decorating stations, face painting, and a storybook station featuring Clifford the Big Red Dog. There will also be family prize baskets given to the kids who find "golden eggs."
Gov. Nathan Deal and first lady Sandra Deal will also be available for photos from 10 a.m. to noon.
Guests are asked to donate a book or stuffed animal which will go to children in need across the state.
Families wishing to attend should RSVP by email to kashworth@georgia.gov and arrive by 9:30 a.m.
