Two arrested in Lamar County meth lab bust

LAMAR COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Two men from Barnsville were arrested on Thursday after Lamar County sheriff's deputies found meth labs in their homes.

The search warrants were executed at two homes on Washington Park Circle.

In both homes, deputies and agents found "one pot method" labs and drugs.

Police arrested Joshua Brown and Kenneth Brown and charged them with possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of cocaine.

Agents with the Narcotics Task Force had to suit up in hazmat suits in order to remove evidence from the homes. Firefighters from the Lamar County Fire Department were on hand to wash off the agents and suspects after the search.
