Wintry mix expected during Friday morning commute

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Metro Atlanta commuters could see snow mixed with rain Friday morning as they head to work and school.

According to CBS Atlanta News meteorologist Paul Ossmann, the rain/snow event will happen between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m., with just rain Friday evening. No accumulating snow is expected in Atlanta.

Here's Ossmann's weekend forecast:

Today: Rain and snow from 4-9 a.m. Then, scattered rain. High 52. E wind at 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Scattered rain. Low 36. Calm E wind.

Saturday: Rain. High 57. E wind at 5-10 mph.
