Road closures announced for Publix Georgia Marathon - CBS Atlanta 46

Several downtown area roads will be closing on Sunday for the Publix Georgia Marathon.

Roads that will be affected include Marietta St., Piedmont Ave., and Ponce de Leon Ave.  Click here for a full list of street by street closures. 

Event officials have also posted detailed information about the course and suggested driving directions to various sections of the course.

Participants and spectators are encouraged to take MARTA on race day as parking will be very limited.  MARTA will provide early rail service beginning at 5 a.m. on Sunday.
