Delta plane bound for Atlanta runs off tarmac in Houston, TX

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A small delta jet headed to Atlanta ran off the runway in Houston, TX Monday morning.

No one was injured when Delta flight 4302 ran off the tarmac into the grass.

It was scheduled to land in Atlanta at 8:39 a.m.

A spokesperson for Pinnacle Airlines, Inc., which operates the plane for Delta, said the plane became stuck in the mud on the edge of a taxiway as it was departing.

The CRJ-900 aircraft was carrying 76 passengers and a crew of four. Passengers were taken to the terminal by bus and were rebooked on other flights.
