BIBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The Bibb Sheriff's Office is investigating a personal armed robbery that occurred around 9:30 p.m. Friday.
The incident happened at the Summer Point Apartments located at 4658 Mercer University Drive.
Witnesses stated that a male suspect came from around the 600 building brandishing a small black gun. The suspect snatched a purse from a female who was getting out of her car, and then he ran away without saying a word.
The suspect is described as a male, 5'11" to 6' in height with a slender build. He was wearing a black ski mask, a black "letterman" jacket and black gloves.
