Pothole Patrol: Hooray for GDOT!

GDOT crews repairing Whitlock Avenue

MARIETTA, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Friday morning, Pothole Patrol got a huge surprise.

Georgia's Department of Transportation promised Pothole Harry that they would make repairs on Whitlock Avenue near Marietta Square in Marietta.

But this time, instead of sending out a couple of workers to make more temporary repairs, a specialized crew tore up Whitlock Avenue at Burnt Hickory and resurfaced the road.
