Man accused in girlfriend's shooting death denied bond

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A man accused of killed his girlfriend in the driveway of his family's home on Feb. 18 was denied bond.

Carlos Simpson, 22, appeared before a judge on Friday.

Police said Simpson shot Shikhira Dunson in the driveway. A witness called police and saw a person leave the scene in a black Honda Accord.

Simpson and Dunson were having a domestic argument prior to the shooting, according to reports.
