You've heard of the term "beer goggles"- drinking so much someone gets better looking.
Researchers in England say the "beer goggles" theory is only your imagination. One study shows alcohol doesn't make people seem more attractive. Rather, it shuts down the part of the brain that keeps us from acting on impulses and making bad decisions as a result.
The research did find one person we find more attractive when we're drinking - ourselves.
