Rockdale County deputies are investigating a fatal shooting that happened at 32 Lakeshore Drive.
The incident happened just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday.
Devaill McCoy, 31, called 911 and said he had just shot 27-year-old Darius Reid.
McCoy said the shooting happened as a result of an ongoing dispute with Reid.
Deputies said McCoy and Reid shot multiple times in the front yard of the home on Lakeshore Drive.
Reid was shot twice and struck once in the chest, and once in the stomach.
He died as a result of the gunshots.
McCoy is facing a charge of voluntary manslaughter and is currently being held in the Rockdale County Jail.
