ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
After a round of severe weather, followed by a round of winter weather, North Georgia is not completely out of the woods.
While no additional precipitation is expected, very cold temperatures will continue across the region Wednesday night.
A Freeze Warning is in effect from midnight until 9 a.m. Thursday morning for all of North Georgia, including Metro Atlanta. A Freeze Warning means freezing temperatures of 32 degrees or colder is expected, which could impact sensitive outdoor plants.
A Wind Advisory also remains in effect for all of North Georgia until 7 p.m. Wednesday evening for sustained wind speeds over 20 mph.
A strong weather system moved across North Georgia on Tuesday, producing several severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon. Afterwards, snow developed in the North Georgia mountains as cold air moved in Tuesday night.
