Fayette County School Board to vote on school closures

FAYETTE COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

On Monday night, the Fayette County School Board will decide the fate of four schools.

The district is facing a $15 million budget shortfall. It could close Brooks Elementary, Fayette Middle, Fayette Intermediate and Tyrone Elementary.

The board will hold their meeting at the Sams Auditorium in Fayetteville beginning at 7 p.m.
