ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Freezing temperatures are in the forecast again tonight. "Morning temperatures across metro Atlanta will range from 24-29° and stay there for a few hours," Severe Weather Meteorologist Cris Martinez said. A Freeze Warning is in effect through Monday morning.

This was one of the coldest weekends North Georgia has seen in a while. Atlanta broke a record for snowfall (a trace) today. Scattered snow fell across North Georgia on Saturday due to a fast-moving weather system that swept across the region and interacted with very cold temperatures.

Up to a trace of snow was reported in Atlanta with higher amounts across extreme North Georgia.  2-3 inches of snow was reported in Fannin, Gilmer and Murray counties.

Dry weather will only last through Monday as another storm system will bring rain and cooler temperatures on Tuesday.
