ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The Winder 2-year-old who was critically injured in October 2012 when a tree branch fell on his head during a storm is having emergency surgery.
Tripp Halstead's mother, Stacey Halstead, posted on Facebook that Tripp had a CT scan Friday afternoon.
The scan detected fluid on his brain.
Halstead said the surgery is "more invasive this time."
Earlier Friday Halstead posted that Tripp had a fever, his heart rate and blood pressure were up, and he was back on oxygen.
CBSAtlanta.com will have more information as it becomes available.
