Police are investigating the motive in the shooting of a man early Friday morning in a southwest Atlanta neighborhood.
The victim told police he was approached by a group of individuals on Devon Drive at approximately 3 a.m., according to Atlanta Police Capt. Tim Peek.
The man got into a car and fled the scene, stopping at a Citgo gas station on Campbellton Road where he called 911.
Peek said the man's injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
