106-year-old woman celebrates birthday

DECATUR, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A Decatur woman celebrated her 106th birthday Thursday. Annie Larmore lives at Arbor Terrace of Decatur, a senior living community. They threw her a big celebration.

Larmore was born in 1907 in Forsyth, GA, and says her birthday celebration was very special.

"It's just so wonderful to learn what people really thought about you," she said laughing.

Larmore enjoys yoga, community outings and loves to talk politics. She has three degrees including a doctorate in library science.
