ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The Atlanta Police Department released two different composite sketches of a man they believe raped a woman.
The 26-year-old victim was walking in the 1800 block of Childress Drive Feb. 15.
She told investigators the man pulled her into the woods and sexually assaulted her.
According to police, the man threatened to shoot her if she screamed.
CBS Atlanta News talked to a person named Melissa who lives in the area.
"It shouldn't have to be like that. It shouldn't happen like that," said Melissa, who did not want us to use her last name.
The woods where the rape happened sit nestled between several homes.
"Wow! Right next door? That's hard to believe, especially that we didn't hear about it," Bob Johnson said.
Johnson, along with his wife and daughters, lives just yards from where the sexual assault happened.
He and others CBS Atlanta News contacted are alarmed by the news, especially since children walk up and down the road throughout the day and evening, going to and from school.
Johnson took several good looks at the rape suspect, doing his best to make a mental note of things.
"I'll be on the lookout for that sketch. That's alarming because I have three little girls," Johnson said.
The suspect was last seen walking on Childress Drive toward Cascade Road.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact detectives at 404-546-4260 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
