WINDER, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A 21-year-old was stabbed by his brother, 16, during a family gathering in the 200 block of Russell Road, according to the city of Winder Police Department.
Offers responded to the 911 call on Sunday around 4:30 p.m.
Witnesses on scene said the victim got into an argument with his brother, which later turned physical.
At some point the teen grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed his brother, according to investigators.
The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He underwent surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
The juvenile is being charged with aggravated assault through the juvenile court of Barrow County.
