Brown Middle SchoolATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Twenty-nine Joseph Emerson Brown Middle School students were taken to Children's at Hughes-Spalding after complaints of itching Monday.
Firefighters evacuated the entire third floor of the building where science classes are held.
One student had a reaction which caused itching, according to officials.
Fire crews arrived to the scene and found the entire classroom with the same symptom.
The Atlanta Fire Department said the students' parents have been notified and air samples were collected and came back negative.
The cause is still being investigated by APS Emergency Response team and Atlanta Fire.
