ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The Atlanta Police Cycling Team will host a fundraiser in honor of fallen officers Gail Thomas, Rich Halford and Shawn Smiley.
The fundraiser will benefit the 2013 Police Unity Tour, which takes place in May 2013.
The ride from Portsmouth, VA to Washington, D.C. was established in 1997 to raise awareness of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
Join the team at Rose and Crown Tavern in Marietta on March 7 at 8 p.m.
