ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Federal Bureau of Investigation agents are searching for a bank robbery suspect that they consider armed and dangerous.
Agents said Michael Jerome Winfield, 46, is responsible for a series of armed commercial and bank robberies within the metro Atlanta area.
Authorities believe Winfield's most recent armed robbery was Feb. 19, at the Wells Fargo Bank on Lavista Road in Tucker.
Winfield is also currently wanted by Alpharetta police in connection with the Feb. 11 armed robbery of the BB&T Bank along Northpoint Parkway.
Sandy Springs police have also obtained arrest warrants for Winfield for two similar gas station robberies and two Walgreens robberies.
