A Clayton County police officer was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a cruiser was involved in a crash with two tractor trailers.
Clayton police said it happened around 2:45 a.m. on I-285 east where a portion of an Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport runway crosses over the highway.
The Georgia Department of Transportation reported there were two other injuries reported in the crash. The conditions of those victims is unknown.
The wreck blocked as many as three lanes of I-285 before it was cleared several hours later.
