Woman found dead in DeKalb County driveway, man arrested

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in a DeKalb County driveway.

Around 10:30 p.m. Monday, police responded to the 2200 Block of Eagles Nest Circle in response to a call of a person shot.

Officers found Shikhira Dunson, 20, in the driveway, dead of an apparent gunshot wound.

Witnesses saw a man shoot the victim and leave the scene in a black Honda Accord.

DeKalb County police arrested Carlos Simpson, 22, and charges are pending.

Police said Simpson and Dunson were having a domestic argument prior to the shooting.
