ATLANTA, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition presented Mayor Kasim Reed with a special award Friday during its ceremony recognizing people and organizations in Atlanta who support and progress bike policy.
After receiving his award, Reed pledged $50,000 of public city funding to the Coalition's event, ‘Atlanta Streets Alive.'
The event will take place on May 19 on Peachtree Street.
