MABLETON, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The Cobb County Police Department is investigating an armed robbery in Mableton, GA.
Authorities said a woman entered a Kroger grocery store located at 4875 Floyd Road at approximately 12:14 p.m. Saturday.
She approached tellers at the Best Bank inside the store and produced a demand note and made verbal demands for money. She also indicated that she was armed with a handgun.
The employees complied with the woman's demands. She fled in an unknown direction after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.
The woman is described as 5'6" tall, weighing 165-200 lbs. with shoulder length hair and appeared to be 25-26 years old.
She was last seeing wearing a green pullover hooded jacket and a dark coat.
