COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Several hundred people turned out for a candlelight vigil as a community mourned two teenagers who died in a fiery crash.

The one-car crash happened Sunday morning on Sandy Plains Road and Kinjac Drive, east of Marietta in Cobb County.

The crowd held candles, offering support for the families of Stephen Nolasco, 19, and Matthew Bennett, 18.

Investigators said Nolasco was driving at the time of the crash.

Both of the young men are remembered as positive people who touched many lives.

Nolasco's sister told CBS Atlanta News her first thought was not to attend the vigil.

"At first I thought having the vigil here was a horrible idea. But it's part of the healing process. It's actually helping a lot, more than I thought," said Valerie Nolasco.

Cobb County police told CBS Atlanta News they are still investigating the crash.

However, they continue to believe that alcohol was not a factor.
