ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Atlanta city leaders will announce plans to renovate and re-open historic Fire Station 7.
The station on Whitehall Street in the city's West End opened in 1910, but closed in 2008 because of budget cuts.
In January, the city council approved money to renovate the building.
It will become an EMS center first, and eventually could be a fully functional fire station.
