LILBURN, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A woman in Gwinnett County arrived home Monday to find flames coming out of the door of her home on Southampton Way in Snellville.
The homeowner saw the kitchen was fully engulfed and called for help.
Firefighters arrived on scene and put out the blaze.
Crews had to deal with other hazards such as downed live power lines and gas service to the home. Firefighters were able to disconnect the gas service.
The family lost their dog in the fire.
No other injuries were reported and the cause is undetermined at this time.
