LILBURN, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Firefighters are battling a fire in the 700 block of Stacy Court in Lilburn.
The homeowner called 911 and said there was a fire in the garage and a family member was in the house.
Firefighters went inside the house and rescued the person who was found on the lower level where the fire started.
The person was taken to the hospital for injuries from high heat and smoke.
There is moderate damage in the garage and smoke throughout the rest of the home, according to officers.
The incident is currently under investigation.
