Lanes reopened on I-20 east in Conyers after serious accident

CONYERS, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A serious accident on I-20 east, west of Salem Rd. in Rockdale County, shut down the interstate on Monday morning.

The single-car crash forced police to shut down the interstate while they airlifted 27-year-old Amberiah Lester.

Lester was ejected from the vehicle. She was not wearing a seatbelt, according to police.

Lanes of I-20 are now open.
