ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Fannin, Rabun, Towns, and Union county schools will be opening two hours late on Monday.
Snow blanketed the area over the weekend, making travel conditions slippery.
A winter storm warning went into effect Saturday afternoon for Murray, Fannin, Gilmer, Union, Towns Lumpkin, and White counties until midnight. Some areas saw accumulations from 2 to 3 inches of sleet and snow.
Snow was also reported in Dade, Rabun, Walker, Catoosa and Whitfield counties.
