Decatur native Ben Callner will have butterflies watching the Super Bowl on Sunday, and it has nothing to do with football. He's one of five finalists in the running to win $1 million and have his own commercial air during the game. It's part of Doritos' annual Crash the Super Bowl contest.
Sunday two ads will air, one selected by America's votes and one by the Doritos brand team. The finalist whose ad scores highest on the USA TODAY Ad Meter rankings wins not only money, but a chance to work with film director Michael Bay on the next installment of Transformers.
Callner, 28, is a free-lance film director and a Georgia Tech graduate. His 30-second spot, called "Goat for Sale" was produced using 2,000 popsicle sticks, 150 bags of Doritos chips, and his friend's goat, named Moose.
