GRIFFIN, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Griffin police are looking for a suspect in a fatal shooting after a party.
Officers said they received an emergency call shortly after midnight on Saturday. They found a man at the intersection of North Ninth and West Tinsley streets. He was identified as Matthew Sierra, 19, according to officers. They said he died of a gunshot wound.
Griffin police took out arrest warrants for Javarious Verdell, 18. Verdell is wanted for murder.
Investigators said they believe a fight at the party led up to the shooting.
