Winter Weather Advisory for the North Georgia Mountains - CBS Atlanta 46

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the North Georgia Mountains from noon Saturday through 7 a.m. Sunday morning for accumulating snow that could produce travel problems.

A weather system is expected to move through the region Saturday, brining a mix of rain and snow to far north Georgia as early as Saturday afternoon.

The precipitation is expected to change to just rain as it moves into Metro Atlanta later Saturday night.

Up to an inch of accumulating snow will be possible in the North Georgia Mountains from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.

No storms or severe weather is expected.
