ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Every time there is heavy rainfall, there is one location on I-75 notorious for flooding.
The northbound lanes on I-75 just before Moores Mill Road.
Wednesday afternoon, the drains clogged again, closing almost every lane and forcing thousands of drivers into hours of gridlock.
Even though GDOT crews checked the drains ahead of time, the expressway still flooded, prompting GDOT's commissioner to take action.
