ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
There are 99 traffic lights in the Perimeter Mall area.
The Perimeter Community Improvement District now has control of all of them.
Using a state-funded grant worth $2.7 million, the CID is using the funding to synchronize, add and repair existing traffic lights.
It's a move that allows the organization to cut through the bureaucratic red tape.
