CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Woodstock officers responded to a robbery call at Cherokee Bank at Woodstock Square Avenue on Tuesday.
Employees said the suspect entered the bank and demanded money from a teller.
After getting the cash he fled from the bank toward the parking lot of Kohl's.
He dropped the cash and got into a small Ford sedan.
Witnesses were able to provide officers with a partial tag of the car as well as a picture of the vehicle.
Chase Lovell Gates, 27, was identified as the suspect.
He was arrested and taken to the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
