CONYERS, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Auto Extremes located in Conyers held its 3rd Cruise-In for a Cause event Sunday. The event was a paid competition for auto owners to win awards for best stereo, suspension and paint job.
All proceeds from this contest go to the Glass Family, who tragically lost four young children in a Conyers house fire Jan. 8.
The children ranged in age from 8 months to 9 years old.
Investigators determined the fire started in the second floor bathroom and hallway area of the two-story duplex on Pinedale Circle.
The children's mother, Reeba Glass, suffered second- and third-degree burns on 40 percent of her body as she tried to save her children.
