Local group to help homeless

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A local organization will feed and serve the homeless in Stone Mountain on Sunday afternoon.

The Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority said its mission is to help those who are less-fortunate.

Besides feeding the homeless, they planned to also distribute coats, blankets, scarves, hats, and gloves at the corner of Trinity and Peachtree Street.
