ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
If you're looking for work you might want to look at open positions at Wells Fargo or Lowe's.
Wells Fargo is trying to fill 200 positions for bankers and loan officers, loan processors and underwriters.
Most of those jobs are in metro Atlanta and the company prefers applicants to have prior experience.
Lowe's is looking to fill 54,000 jobs this spring.
The home-improvement chain expects 9,000 of those jobs to become permanent.
Positions will include cashiers, lawn and garden specialists, loaders and stockers.
Lowe's has 8,500 employees in Georgia.
Analysts say the job openings indicate both an improving economy and a slow recovery in the housing market.
