CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Officials with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating a fatal forklift accident at a marina on Lake Allatoona.
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. at the Little River Marina on Bells Ferry Road.
Lt. Jay Baker with the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said Josh Roberts, 21, of Woodstock, was crushed by a forklift and pronounced dead at the scene.
The forklift is typically used to remove boats from storage, but it is unclear what Roberts was doing at the time of the accident.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office continue their investigation into the accident.
