Monroe restaurant destroyed in fire - CBS Atlanta 46

The Captain D's restaurant on Spring Street in Monroe was destroyed by a fire early Sunday morning.
Fire officials says the blaze was accidental most likely caused by some sort of electrical malfunction.
Monroe Fire Department responded just around 1:20 a.m. Flames and smoke were visible when crews arrived. Captain Jack Armstrong said the fire started in the office area and then spread into the attic and the roof.
It is likely to be several days before investigators pinpoint the exact cause.
