Georgia State University's Marching Band will perform Monday in the Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C.
The band, only three years old, was selected from more than 2,000 applicants.
"We've been working diligently every season since then to raise our level of entertainment, energy and excellence we give to the audience," Chester Phillips, director of athletic bands, said in a statement released by the school.
Band members arrived in Washington D.C. Friday night. The parade begins at 2:30 p.m. following the inauguration ceremony and luncheon.
