Cobb County house seriously damaged in fire

COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A fire seriously damaged a home in east Cobb County on Friday afternoon.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. at a home on Clubland Drive in the Indian Hills Country Club subdivision.

The fire started in the attic, according to firefighters at the scene.

There was someone home when the fire started, but the home did not have smoke detectors.

No one was injured in the fire. A cause was unknown.
