CAMDEN COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and other agencies raided an alleged dog fighting operation in Camden County.
A search warrant was obtained as a result of an investigation initiated in late 2012.
One man faces possible charges of dog fighting and animal cruelty, according to the sheriff's office.
Twelve emaciated dogs and fighting equipment were seized from the person's home.
A logistics team from the Atlanta Humane Society evaluated the dogs that were seized.
Extra help for the dogs came from Camden County Animal Control.
