Fire destroys trailers filled with tires, damages business in Clayton County

CLAYTON COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Firefighters have doused a fire that destroyed part of a tire business in Clayton County.

The fire happened mid-Monday afternoon at Action Tires at 410 Lees Mill Rd., near Forest Park.

Two trailers filled with tires that were ready to be unloaded caught fire and were destroyed. The fire also did some damage to the building, according to a spokesperson with the Clayton County Fire Department.

The cause of the fire was not known.
